Update from the Arctic & Antarctic 🧊
Arctic sea ice cover shrank to its annual minimum on Sept. 19; it was the 6th-lowest extent in the satellite record, according to @NASA & @NSIDC. Meanwhile, Antarctic sea ice grew less this winter than any other year on record on Sept. 10.
