Abdulla Balalaa, UAE Assistant Foreign Minister for Energy and Sustainability Affairs, spoke about the priorities ahead of the UN Water Conference 2026, set to be co-hosted by the UAE and Senegal. 

“Together with our colleagues from Senegal, we are excited to be embarking on a new journey to elevate water within the international agenda...and focus on accelerating the implementation of SDG 6: ensuring availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all,” said H.E. Balalaa.
