This morning from around 10Z to 13Z the @NOAA_HurrHunter onboard the @NOAA WP-3D Orion were able to sample ocean waves during their mission on Major Hurricane #Lee using the Wide Swath Radar Altimeter (WSRA). These observations revealed that waves were peaking up to 40 ft!
