On June 13, @NOAA’s GOES-U was encapsulated in the fairing that will protect the satellite from pressure and heating during its ascent into space.

Once #GOESU no longer needs this protection, the fairing halves will be jettisoned back to Earth, where @SpaceX will use them on future missions.
