We're seeing a lot of challenges at the moment with trying to keep an open space for stakeholders, while balancing a more traditional, international view of negotiations, especially for states.

Trying to bridge these two views so that not only are viewpoints represented, and Indigenous communities able to provide input during the open sessions we have for negotiations, but also having those views represented in the treaty text and included in the drafting and implementation process.'
