C’est ce que montre une étude scientifique qui paraît dans @NatureClimate Change et que Alexandre Magnan de l'Iddri, premier auteur, a écrit avec 16 autres experts internationaux de l’adaptation au changement climatique. Ils ont analysé 61 cas d’étude côtiers à travers le monde et proposent une méthode inédite, le Global Adaptation Progress Tracker (GAP-Track), qui permet de renforcer les politiques d’adaptation par l’identification de priorités d'action, du niveau local à l’échelle internationale. Cette méthode pourrait être structurante pour l’évaluation et le suivi des efforts d’adaptation au niveau mondial.
