🌲 Last week marked the conclusion of the #IUCNcongress, and one important topic on the agenda was primary forests. Highlighted through events at the IUCN Programme Pavilion, GEF Pavilion, and beyond, the urgent need to conserve and protect these ecosystems was abundantly clear.

Primary forests are some of the most valuable ecosystems on our planet. Unfortunately, they are quickly disappearing. From now until #COP30, which will take place in the heart of the Amazon🌳, we will be exploring why primary forests are so important, and what we can do to ensure their continued survival.
