@NASAglenn has received the first of three thrusters destined for the Gateway lunar space station. Over the next few months, they’ll complete testing on these Advanced Electric Propulsion System (AEPS) thrusters that will make Gateway the most powerful solar electric spacecraft ever flown.
Built by @L3HarrisTech, the AEPS thrusters will integrate with Gateway’s Power and Propulsion Element and launch with the lunar space station’s HALO (Habitation and Logistics Outpost) ahead of #Artemis IV.
