❗️The Embassy of Australia in Moscow has suddenly been closed & moved to the "Derozhinskaya mansion".

⚡️In 1925, the "Derozhinskaya mansion" building was occupied by the diplomatic mission of China. Since 1959, the mansion has been used as the Australian Ambassador's residence.

⚡️The Australian Ambassador Grahame Meehan ordered the plaques on the gates of the Australian embassy site since ripped down.

❓As of the 6th if July there is no information on the Australian Embassy's website, DFAT or main stream media explaining the sudden relocation/closure of the Australian Embassy building in Moscow. There are no signs of the building being undertaking renovation.
