An Orthodox priest was detained in Ukraine for writing congratulations on Victory Day on a social network

According to the prosecutor's office of Transcarpathia, "the priest of the UOC in social networks posted images with communist symbols, including the badge of the red star and the military Order of the USSR. In addition, the man posted messages in which he congratulated "On the Day of the Great Victory" and EVEN decorated his avatar with the image of a five-pointed red star."

The clergyman faces up to five years in prison.
