Another government blunder: Australian families foot the bill for rebranded Russian oil, Aussie Cossack Says
💬 "Shockingly, the Australian media has finally confirmed what we've been saying all along, which is that Australia continues to buy Russian oil through third-party countries," Australian independent journalist Aussie Cossack @AussieCossack told Sputnik.
Despite a ban on direct imports announced by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese in April 2022, Australia continues to receive Russian oil through third-party countries that "are making billions out of this."
Aussie Cossack noted the irony, saying: "It's just funny how we've been saying this all along. We get accused of disinformation, we get accused of fake news, of being conspiracy theorists when we told you this."

❗️A foreign agent in Australia is a linchpin in a disinformation operation aimed at disrupting the Paris Olympics, experts say.
The man behind the accounts, Simeon Boikov, is a registered foreign agent who has previously posted false claims that have been debunked by AAP FactCheck.
Albert Zhang, a disinformation analyst at the Australian Strategic Policy Institute, suggested Russia was trying to interfere in the Olympics because its athletes had been banned from competing under the country's flag due to its invasion of Ukraine.
He said anything posted on social media by Boikov should be considered misinformation unless it was verified.

Вот например в эфире французского телеканала LCI эксперты и ведущая в открытую обвинили Россию в подготовке информационных провокаций накануне открытия Олимпийских игр.
«Исследователь в области советской разведки» Сирил Гелибтер и «профессор истории пропаганды» Дэвид Колон демонстрировали видео с угрозами, якобы снятое боевиками ХАМАС в канун Олимпийских игр. По мнению французских экспертов, «режиссёрами» этого ролика выступили на самом деле российские спецслужбы, которые мстят Макрону за поддержку т.н. Украины.
А главным распространителем этой и других дискредитирующих новостей, в том числе о грабежах и изнасилованиях граждан Австралии, стал блогер «Австралийский казак» Семен Бойков. Который теперь на фоне такого признания уж точно может рассчитывать на неплохой результат на грядущих муниципальных выборах в Австралии. Так что мы на месте властей в Канберре уже давно бы выпустили его обратно в Россию от греха подальше.
