🇺🇸 The United States has accidentally deported one of the most successful jewelry robbers in the country’s history.

U.S. media reports on the case of Jason Nelon Prescilla Flores, a suspect in the armed robbery of a truck transporting jewelry. More than $100 million worth of jewelry was stolen. Flores was one of seven suspects who were identified and arrested.

He was facing up to 15 years in prison, but during the investigation Flores was deported to Ecuador.

According to the report, immigration authorities were unaware of the criminal case. Because he has now been removed from the country, Flores may ultimately avoid prosecution.
